You think you already have everything you need. You think you are already RICH. You have begun to REIGN in God’s kingdom without us! I wish you really were reigning already, for then we would be reigning with you. (1 Corinthians 4:8 NLT
“For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come.” Hebrews 13:14 NLT
Our idea of “Rule and Reign” is carnal and it has to change. We automatically think possessions, success, money, influence. That is what Jesus came to confront. The Pharisees has money, prestige, influence. There is nothing wrong with that in of itself, but that’s not God’s definition on ruling and reining on earth.
Jesus introduced a new way to be royal on earth.
“Beware! Guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by HOW MUCH YOU OWN.” (Luke 12:15 NLT)
“Sell your possessions and give to those in need. This will store up treasure for you in heaven! And the purses of heaven never get old or develop holes. Your treasure will be safe; no thief can steal it and no moth can destroy it. (Luke 12:33 NLT)
Did Jesus not say that this is not His Kingdom? If this is not His Kingdom
We’re supposed operate from our kingdom above. Why are we trying to rule and reign in this life when Paul said “you died to this life.” Read >>Colossians 3.
Do not love or cherish the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world — the lust of the flesh [craving for sensual gratification] and the lust of the eyes [greedy longings of the mind] and the pride of life [assurance in one’s own resources or in the stability of earthly things] — these do not come from the Father but are from the world [itself]. And the world passes away and disappears, and with it the forbidden cravings (the passionate desires, the lust) of it; but he who does the will of God and carries out His purposes in his life abides (remains) forever. (1 John 2:15–17 AMP)
Hope in Christ alone is our cornerstone of ruling in this life. In this life we will face trouble, trials, and unfortunate situations, but God be the glory and be our strength and shield to remain standing. The goal is enduring to the end in the context of what Jesus was saying in [Matthew 24:13]. And one day we will say “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” Keeping the faith and endure to the end is the Christian success. Because many will fall away from the faith because of weariness, a bitter heart, un-forgiveness, seducing spirits, false doctrine, the pleasures of this life etc.
“If you think you are standing strong, be careful not to fall.”1 Corinthians 10:12 NLT

Our reigning King’s description
“He will rescue the poor when they cry to him; he will help the oppressed, who have no one to defend them. He feels pity for the weak and the needy, and he will rescue them. He will redeem them from oppression and violence, for their lives are precious to him.” Psalms 72:12–14 NLT
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. And now the prize awaits me — the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:7–8 NLT
“For I fully expect and hope that I will never be ashamed, but that I will continue to be bold for Christ, as I have been in the past. And I trust that my life will bring honor to Christ, whether I live or die. For to me, living means living for Christ, and dying is even better.” Philippians 1:20–21 NLT
Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things. Philippians 3:19 NIV
“Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand. Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory.” Colossians 3:1–4 NLT
“Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” Hebrews 13:5 NLT
