Get Out The Vote in Nevada with Executive Women for Hillary

Executive Women for Hillary, along with our friends, community and significant others, are headed to Nevada to help get the vote out for Hillary! Join us for a fun-filled and inspiring couple of weekends. Nevada continues to be an important swing state in this election and we have the power to make a difference.

October 22–23 — San Francisco to Reno GOTV Trip

Transportation — We will be departing at 5am from San Francisco at 5:15 am. Please meet in front of CalTrain Station at 4th and Mission. We ask canvassers to arrive at 4:45am for check-in. We will arrive back in San Francisco no later than 10pm on Sunday.

Meeting Location and Time — We will gather in Reno at 10am on Oct 22 for training at Cathexes — 250 Bell St. Reno, NV 89503. If you are taking your own transportation, please be sure to be there at 10am or have the mobile number of someone in the field. You can reach Jody at 650–740–5300 or Marilyn at 408–421–9033.

October 22–23 — Los Angeles to Las Vegas GOTV Trip

Transportation — We will be departing from the Westchester Campaign Office (9100 S Sepulveda Boulevard) at 6 am. We are asking canvassers to arrive at 5.15 am for bus check in. There is a free and secure carpark behind the building that volunteers can leave their cars at for the day.

Hotel — We have a hotel block at the Westin in Las Vegas. The rate is $219. To book, contact Jessica at balabanj@gmail.com

Saturday night dinner — We will have a special dinner get-together on Saturday night. Stay tuned for more details.

Nov 4–6 — Las Vegas (own transportation)

Transportation — Your own transportation is required for this GOTV trip. Many volunteers are flying from Northern California and other parts of the country for this exciting last weekend before election day. There are campaign buses that depart every Saturday morning from the Westchester Campaign Office (9100 S Sepulveda Blvd) in Los Angeles if you are in the area and interested. Let us know and we can help reserve a seat.

A Typical GOTV Agenda

SATURDAY

5:00 am — bus will depart, general training will be provided upon arriving in Reno or Las Vegas

10.00 am — arrival for roughly .5 hour of specific Nevada training and early lunch

11:00 pm — head out for our first (3 hour) shift of canvassing neighbourhoods (in small groups)

2:00 pm — quick break for snacks and debrief back at staging location (Field Office)

3:30 pm — head out for second (3 hour) shift canvassing

6:30 pm — return back at the office for a final debrief with time to get dinner.

7.00 pm — Group dinner — location TBD

SUNDAY

9:00 am — arrive back at Field Office for quick debrief before heading out for first Sunday (3 hour) shift of canvassing

12:00 pm — lunch break

12:30 pm — head out for second (3 hour) shift canvassing

3:30 pm — Thank you and quick break for water and sacks (Field Office)

by 4:00 pm — Depart for San Francisco or LA

8.00 pm — Arrive home
