Days Gone Is A Game Changer

Our team has been searching for a game that we think is going to revolutionize the video game market and I think we’ve finally found it. Days Gone which will be releasing in December of 2017 is for sure our winner. Let us jump into why you need to look into this beautiful game.

Reason 1: Zombies

Everyone loves zombies right?

We think Days Gone will be in the top 3 zombie apocalypse games ever created, if you watch the gameplay by clicking here you will eventually start to see that this game is literally like some scenes out of the hit series “The Walking Dead”. The zombies will be coming out in great masses or smaller groups all depending on where you’re exploring through out the world. Just remember if you’re going through a town you better have some ammunition for your gun or you’re a goner.

Reason 2: The Content

The point of Days Gone is to obviously to make it feel like you’re in a real life apocalypse, if it’s the active environment that your exploring, or the decisions you will be making with the people that you run into.

Here’s a quote right off of Playstation’s website explaining Days Gone:

“This is a brutal world, where everyone and everything is struggling to survive — but hopefully, the trailer shows that the game is about more than that. It’s about desperation, hope, transformation, loss, madness, discovery, friendship, exploration, brotherhood, regret and love. In the end, Days Gone is about what makes us human. It’s about how even when confronted with such enormous tragedy, we find a reason to live. Hope never dies.”

I love how people will be a huge factor in this game, is there going to be key decision making through out your journey that could destroy friendships? We don’t know that much yet about the game but from that quote thats exactly what we’re assuming. Another crucial part to the content is obviously the gear you can discover. I hope they do a good job at allowing you to craft or find different kinds of weapons, if SIE Bend Studio were smart they wouldn’t keep putting the same guns through out the game, with these games it’s all about variety.

What’s also going to be very is cool is how active the environment is, the weather will 100% effect the zombies and its all in real time. If it’s raining where ever you’re playing Days Gone it will actually be raining in the game, I know this isn’t new technology but it’s always good to hear that the developers are taking the time to add this beautiful feature.

Reason 3: Talents

We’re probably going to enjoy the talent tree the most. When we looked into the game and found out that the character will be playing is universal through out the board (Could change you never I hope it does, we’re all about customizing a character to the looks of the actual player right?) we were hoping for something else to help make the game more “personal”. Adding the talents gives that personal feel, heres why.

Everyone has their own preferences when it comes to spells or upgrades, this allows you to customize it to your liking. In our opinion it would have been a MAJOR downfall if they didn’t implement the talents that would mean that we’re just going around scavenging equipment and building weapons, aka that gets boring. Since there will be talents there has to be levels right? Which means there will be quests to give you experience to help you level and gain more talent points (That’s how a normal RPG game is built). All of this is good news, it adds that personal feeling that we talked about earlier and it makes it more of a strategic game, rather than a game that you play to just kill zombies.

Conclusion

We would like to find out if Sony is going to be adding a multiplayer aspect to Days Gone. So far we found this in doing some research, which could potentially mean they’re looking to do something extraordinary or “different”. Sony is being very protective filing for a Trademark which could mean they’re taking this game very serious and that they have BIG plans for it. Click here to read more on this matter.

That’s great news for us gamers…

On a side note Xbox is in trouble since Days Gone is strictly for PS4 and just like the hit series “The Last Of Us” it will never make it over to that side.

In the end our team is predicting Days Gone to be a massive hit, think of it like this…”The Last Of Us” on steroids.

Until next time,
