Awesome! It was about time somebody would write something like this. While in your article you focus on your students I believe the problem is much wider/deeper in the academic community. Have you ever heard/read the usual refrain that vis is useful when you “don’t know what you are looking for” in the data? I repeated that as a parrot for many years myself. Thanks for writing this Eytan!
