Comey-Day: The First-Ever Media-Driven Impeachment of a US President

Ummm…the media has a role in our democracy as one of the checks both on an administration and on elected officials at every level and location.

The media fulfilled that role quite well in the Nixon era, thank you. I was in high school at the time, and remember it quite well.

…and yes, I’m a former Republican moderate (but drummed out of the party here in California as a RINO years ago), and no I don’t watch cable news. Have the distinction of not having paid a cable subscription, ever.

Rule of law >> any partisan thinking, issue, or topic, always.

Truth >> spin, always. Journalism’s role is to get people the facts. Journalists and “news” institutions who forget this are unimportant and I do not hear their words.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
