How the Game Works
Our dice game is created with simplicity and fairness in mind, while also providing plenty of opportunities for strategic decisions and rerolls. The game supports 4 players as the default, with each player rolling a d20 dice (a 20-sided die). Here’s how it works:
- Joining the Game:
Each player joins the game by paying 20 USD worth of FUNToken. Once a player joins, they immediately roll their dice. - Rerolls for More Chances:
Players can choose to reroll their dice at any time before the final player joins and rolls. Rerolls cost 10 USD worth of FUNToken, which is half the price of the first roll. This allows players to improve their chances if their initial roll wasn’t high enough. - Last Roll Counts:
Each player’s last roll is the one that counts when determining the winner. However, there’s a unique twist: previous rolls aren’t entirely wasted. For every reroll you make, you get a +1 bonus added to your final roll, with a maximum bonus of +3. This adds an exciting layer of strategy, where players need to weigh the potential benefit of rerolling against the costs. - Multiple Winners Possible:
The player (or players) with the highest number after all four players have rolled wins the game. It’s possible to have more than one winner if two or more players roll the same high number, which makes every roll even more exciting! - Game Payouts:
FUNToken takes 20% of all rolls and rerolls at the point of transaction, with the rest going to the prize pool. Players get a chance to win this amount that goes to the pooled pot in each round.
Strategy and Replayability
This dice game isn’t just about luck; strategy plays a key role, especially when it comes to rerolling. With each reroll being cheaper than the initial roll, players have the chance to improve their score and even add bonuses to their final roll. The +1 bonus for each reroll (up to +3) means that players who invest in multiple rolls have a better shot at winning, but the challenge is knowing when to stop. Should you reroll to improve your odds or hold onto your current roll? These decisions will keep players engaged and make every game feel unique.
