It turns out that the variable use is at fault, &RESTART_SIDEKIQ and &MUTE_SIDEKIQ. I gave up on using them and I ended up repeating the scripts contents under each file. It’s crappy but it works. Anyone knows why variables don’t seem to work anymor?e
