The earths population is expected to peak at 10 billion people and then stay flat — if current projections hold. Given the enormous amount of food waste of todays societies, feeding and sustaining 10 billion people is not a problem — our planet can handle it.

The issue is not the birthrate (which for most if not all western countries is below 2 children per family) — the issue is capitalism and consumerism.
