This isn’t even a contest. Both actors have been in good movies, but Diesel’s never been part of what makes a movie good. He’s there, mumbling and drooling, but unless wet slurs are a fetish for you he’s not adding anything to the experience. Johnson, by contrast, is a goddamn delight in PAIN & GAIN and THE RUNDOWN.

That’s right, THE RUNDOWN. The movie you neglected to mention in your head to head post because you knew it would irrevocably tilt the battle to Johnson’s advantage.
