Shaun T — Trust and Believe
FanDate has welcomed another celebrity to be apart of the team, Shaun T. Shaun T has a decorated career, from choreographer, dancer as well as health and fitness. He brings a new edge to FanDate and allows us to reach all those fitness junkies out there!
Shaun T grew up in New Jersey and received his BS in Sports Science along with a minor in Theatre and Dance from Rowan University. Upon his graduation Shaun entered the corporate world as a health and fitness specialist and personal trainer. He earned a position as the health program manager at one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies Wyeth.
Shaun T has a passion for helping people so he branched out into commercial fitness and dance. He began to work with companies such as Equinox, as well as Kathy Smith. With Kathy he began to develop and choreograph Project: You. His accomplishments can be found across the entire industry from the musical version of The Ten Commandments, Pippin and Applause to the television with Tyler Perry’s House of Payne, Six Feet Under, and Beauty Shop with Queen Latifah. He also has gone on tour with Mariah Carey and danced for Travis Payne and Jamal Sims. On top of the success of his dance career, he partnered with Beachbody where he combined his passion for fitness and dance to make the #1 selling home fitness informercial, Hip Hop Abs in 2007.
Shaun T furthered this career path by creating workouts for Kids and preteens such as Shaun T’s Fit Kids Club and Get Real with Shaun T. His next big hit was Rockin’ Body, that was packed with new dance moves and more calorie burning workouts choreographed to popular music. In 2009 Shaun T debuted his new fitness accomplishment, Insanity. He followed this with INSANITY: THE ASYLUM Vol. 1 and Vol. 2.Today Shaun is doing what he loves to do, he loves to travel and is still helping people attain their goals through physical and mental challenges.
