What We Buy Before A Storm At Regular Grocery Stores — And At Trader Joe’s

I am in a 20 + inch snowstorm and it is still coming down. We picked up some honey whiskey, lox and good salami this week in preparation and I thawed a small turkey which is now in the oven. It is very comforting to smell it baking as I take my turn clearing a path to the driveway, which is buried for the full length to the road. That roasting turkey smell makes me feel hopeful.
