Nicole, I just did a quick search and found you can rent a budget car in Seattle for about $135 a week. If you did that two weeks a month, you have tons of options and still spend no more than the Lyft or Uber. Also, you could spread those out and and start scheduling life around car times versus non-car times. You could also become a loyalty member and really take advantage of deals. I saw there were one day rentals for as little as $17 — -just remember to add the taxes, etc. on to that, but still no more than Uber. For about $30 you could have a car ALL DAY. Plus, they will pick you up and drop you off. You could arrange that to coincide with a last ride to an event.
