Oh, yes! I would add Edna Ferber’s “So Big” , Willa Cather’s “My Antonia”, Adrienne Rich’s poetry. “Vibration Cooking: Or the Travel Notes of A Geechee Girl” by Vertamae Smart-Grosvenor.
I love to read lists like this, and I always try to figure out what I would add or delete. Some of the books I have read from this list take me to a different era from my life. While they were revolutionary for me at the time I read them, now I would not even think of re-reading them. Dawkins, “Getting to Yes” and several others.
