We’re on the same wavelength, Judy. Perhaps I’m not being clear about my actions. This is simply a mind game I’ve instituted, conceived in an experiment to stop the debilitating pain of sciatica. It worked. So I continue the game. Expanded the game. But the game in no way insulates me from the horrors around me. It just, somehow, modifies everything, so I don’t get so angry that I stand on a busy street corner wearing a pig mask holding a sign telling people to close their Bank of America accounts. (I’ve done such things.) I acknowledge the bad stuff (hey! the good stuff too!) but come away with a more even disposition.
I like your background in alternate realities. Mine is similar, I think. We’re explorers, you and I. You probably read a bit of John Lilly. I keep this quote in my wallet. For now, it’s the bedrock on which I stand.
“In the province of the mind, what is believed to be true is true, or becomes true within certain limits to be learned by experience and experiment. These limits are further beliefs to be transcended. In the province of the mind. There are no limits.”
Pax, Judy.
