FinalDay 10 JuiceDiet: Taking a 40–1 shot

Sometimes it’s the long shots that pay off. I thought it was a crazy idea, my wife thought it was a crazy idea. Like seriously, who isn’t going to eat ANYTHING for 10 days! (Were my thoughts while downing another lindt ball). Let along what society was thinking:

I am sitting here at my computer on day 10. Not believing that I have made it through this. I went back and read all of my blog posts, and all of the lessons I have learnt, I pinch myself.
Final weigh in will be tomorrow morning, so we can get a full picture of this reboot which I will tweet from my twitter: FatMan trying to lose weight
Today went pretty well, I had to wake up pretty early for a flight back home to Switzerland
The wife had a nice green juice prepared when I arrived, and then I blended up a double batch of the carrots/apple/lettuce/lime/ginger to finish off the day. I did think about food a lot today, since it’s becoming a realisation from tomorrow, which is all planned out. (mostly) I am getting excited about finally getting my fried eggs in the morning.

Following this I have one meal planned for the day, then I suspect I will end up jucing one of the meals. Thankyou Jamie Oliver for his healthy and practical recipies. See the link below. I know I haven’t made it yet, but it seemed an awesome way to get back to eating. :)
With fresh, zingy homemade guacamole Thanks for voting.www.jamieoliver.com
I am going to keep this short, as I can only say 1 thing: TRY IT! (not the food, but the Juice Reboot) and I want that to sink in… OK you have 1–2 hard days in the beginning, but my brain is thinking more clearly, I have more energy, I have lost weight. Why would you not consider wasting 10 days of your life on a test. (Especially since Dr’s have said it’s not actually unhealthy for you - but to not be bias, they also say there is no research papers proving that Juicing is better for you as opposted to eating - But practically, who is really going to eat that much fruit and veg…)
To get inspiration, watch this documentary, it really caught me:
For a limited time, watch the full-length feature film (97 minutes) for FREE. G'Day. I'm Joe Cross. Before I made this…www.rebootwithjoe.com
Don’t worry if you give up though, you haven’t failed. The people that fail are the ones that never try something in the first place. You have taken the step in the right direction, and that is the most important part.
I am going to continue this blog over the course of my weight loss journey, as I know this was only 1 step in the process. I set out to lose 38kgs (84lbs), and I am only 17% of the way there.
Signoff today is something special, as I need to share the tune that is going through my head as I prepare to lie down for today.
I achieved something, something more than a juice reboot, it was a look into my soul, accepting my problems, committing to prioritising what is important, and I have come out a better man.
This JuiceReboot may not have changed the world, but it has changed my word. Thankyou @JoetheJuicer
