How to shed emotional baggage…

Day 448 — Do you want to know how to shed emotional baggage? Just cut that shit out! I know I’m wearing my emotional baggage. Like body armor. And while I’d like to literally “cut it out” it is simply not an option for me. Although I am thinking there is some cosmetic work I’m sorta seriously considering.

On my fab track, the laser hair removal of my “wolverine” hair that’s sprung up on my face and neck is kinda working. I warned them they’d need a light saber, but hey assured me no. Then I find out it only works on dark hair…so yeah. There’s that. Electrolysis here I come.

These last several days have been busy. Focused elsewhere. Not on me. I looked at my fitness app and my activity levels have dropped precipitously. I feel like I’ve slid back to old habits. Putting everyone and everything first. Putting off my workout to facilitate others needs.

Even with a family funeral and all that entails, at the end of the day, any failure on my part is simply…an excuse. #owningit
