Tell me this — what economic forces created a situation where my great uncle, who had a good paying job fixing roads here in Texas, a good retirement, health insurance and so on — what force made it to where that job vanished?

Because it has.

Why is it I no longer see high school graduate white males applying asphalt anymore? Because they are lazy? Or is it because there is an outside economic force, a ready supply of cheap labor to be tapped?
