Accidental (and probably deliberate, though it’s dangerous to try for it) blood sugar lows give you all the side effects of alcohol: dizziness, lightheadedness, inability to concentrate, and occasionally nausea and vision problems, without the euphoria, affability or gregariousness. It’s an anti-drug.
Also, while I don’t particularly like the song, Say Something (I’m Giving Up On You) by A Great Big World is sad and real: there’s nothing happening to the relationship, it’s just withering.
