When you indicate that you are “Interested” in an event / activity, Dateventure matches your interest profile against other users in your area. You’ll review your matches and select which people you’d like to go to that event / activity with. Dateventure then makes a personalized introduction to the person that also selected you that we think you’ll have the best time with.

“Ben, meet Veronica. Veronica, meet Ben. Ben once rode his bike across the country, and Veronica is addicted to Soulcycle. Both of you are interested in wine-tasting, hiking, and modern art.”

So, Dateventure starts as an event discovery service where you can discover events like restaurant openings, classes, concerts, comedy shows, day trips, art exhibits and so much more.

Then, when you find something awesome that you want to do, we find someone awesome for you to do it with.

Not only will you find that good time that you’ve been swearing you’ve been looking for, you’ll find someone to have that good time with. Instead of dating, you’ll be adventuring, and you’ll create memories that you both will have for a lifetime.

Say that Veronica is introduced to Ben on Dateventure and they go rock-climbing followed by cocktails on a Tuesday. When they get home, Veronica and Ben both indicate in Dateventure that they would like to go on another adventure together. Awesome — Dateventure recommends them an urban explorer outing that Saturday that they attend with a group of twelve or so other people. Dateventure then recommends a movie that they both will like followed by a new sushi restaurant that neither have been to before.
