Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “You are what you think all day long.

Everything happens for a reason. Each event brings you closer to your predestined expectation which entails to reaping the fruits you believe you deserve.

Sometimes you have to encounter hardships, other times you will go through joyful experiences. Either way going through that is meant to propel you to the new mindset you need to adorn in order to become the person you’ve previously decided to embody.

Everyone you meet has an agenda. Some people come into your life and their purpose is to reveal to you attributes you possess that currently lay latent. Some come to you searching for pieces of themselves and through being exposed to you, they get to find themselves.

The choices of their actions towards you should not concern you. Observe them, see what you choose to see. Ultimately how you interpret those actions will give you whatever outcome you desire.

You cannot be broken because someone tried to break you and you cannot be uplifted or be enriched because someone decided to help you. It all boils down to what you initially wanted. And each lesson you receive will be perceived in the vision you had for yourself long before the lesson appeared.

Either way, if you keep in mind that every encounter is a temporary one. Neither the person who chooses to steal from you, nor the one who chooses to share their diamonds with you can either make you feel poor nor rich.

For example: If someone ripped you off and your initial mindset before meeting them was that of one secretly seeking for enlightenment, strength and stability? The experience you go through with that particular person will give you the outcome you desired. You will be strong, enlightened and stable.

Another opposite example: If someone or people decide to help you or push you to your next level but your habitual mindset is that of victimhood, you think people are up to no good and that people are selfish. Through it all you won’t see the help they’re offering, you will unconsciously sabotage the chance you’ve been given and when they finally pull off their resources you will be very disappointed and be left with your initial negative confirmation of how mean people are. Once again you affirm that you were right all along.

The end result always matches your initial expectation.
