Good article which spread light on the actual situation in Haiti. Yesterday a truck of sugar was assaulted by the mob. The workers of SONAPI are striking. The workers are asking a raise due to the devaluation gourdes/U.S. dollars. It is said that hunger is spread in the population and that plastic rice is what is beeing imported. Michel Martelly is talking at ONU as a specialist of good governance when the money from help was never accounted for. Nowadays the government has not paid the diplomats nor teachers. What awaits in Haiti for these 50,000 Haitians under Trump administration, people in fear of beeing deported? No jobs, no financing, no housing; despair! mmp
