Victor Stone also known as Cyborg is an integral part of the DC universe. Seeing a glimpse of him in the big budgeted DC movie, Batman vs Superman, the hopes of seeing this half-human half-robot superhero ruling the screens with a solo movie were all the concrete. Now with all these fandoms and anticipation for the much awaited Cyborg movie, we give you certain facts you should know about him.

BOOYAH!

1.Origins: Cyborg wasn’t this techno-biological creature always. Formerly known as Victor Stone, he was a star football player in his school. His parents were scientists at S.T.A.R labs and intelligence was already embedded in his genes. But his parents conducted some more experiments on him eventually boosting his intelligence. Was he a lab rat or what? One unfortunate day, when his father’s experiment resulted in the death of Victor’s mother Ellinor and also injured Victor severely. Victor’s father used his presence of mind, and closed the portal. He couldn’t save his wife but he definitely saved his son by replacing the injured parts with advanced machinery from S.T.A.R labs. This ruined Victor’s humane looks and made way for hatred that could not be extinguished anytime sooner.

2. Powers: People usually perceive of Cyborg to be a robot that can shoot. That’s it? Not at all. Since Cyborg is half human and half machine he can combine his intellect with any computer anywhere in the world. Basically a supercomputer with a heart, Cyborg has his eyes and ears anywhere he wants it to be. So you better not be on his radar, or else there shall be no escape; just annihilation.

3. Tenure: The masses have been introduced to this character just a few months back. But hardcore DC fans would know, Cyborg has been there from a very long time. Being a part of Teen Titans (you should know them!), Cyborg eventually becomes a member of the Justice League. All that football skills coming to some use after all, eh? In the latest version of the Justice League, Batman has taken the mantle of this elite group of superheroes. But since Bruce Wayne is a busy man (and nocturnal), Cyborg takes charge of the team in the Caped Crusader’s absence. In this era of cybernetics, maybe that’s what we need, precisely.

4. Sentimental correlation: Cyborg is all about imperfection, as the world sees it. With inhuman features and not being visually appeasing the Cyborg has a lot of stares and disgusted outlooks to surpass. This is one of the reasons where many people correlate with this character. While the media and fashionistas decide who’s beautiful and who isn’t, the majority of people feel left out and feel ugly. They feel they aren’t a part of the ‘society’ as we know it — pretty much how Cyborg feels too. But Cyborg yet faces all his odds, and emerges to lead the elite and protect the very people who alienated him. So much for patriotism and being a role model — Cyborg gets it down to the ‘T’.

Here are some of the facts we didn’t know about a crucial character. Hoping that the Cyborg movie is hitting the big screen sooner than we anticipate, let’s revel in the possibility of it being soon. Very soon.

Until then, Cyborg your way out of everything!
