Jeroen Ginjaar, left, Figure 1’s European contest winner, with our co-founder Dr. Joshua Landy, at the 2015 Medical Innovations Summit.

A few weeks ago, Figure 1’s co-founder Dr. Joshua Landy kicked off the Royal Society of Medicine’s 2015 Medical Innovations Summit with a speech announcing Paging. Chronicling the journey of Figure 1, he discussed how image sharing, a native behavior in today’s mobile age, allows for better global collaboration among healthcare professionals.

You can watch his speech below.

Jeroen Ginjaar, a first-year medical student at Leiden University in the Netherlands, who won our recent European contest, went to the summit with our team. He attended a day full of lectures on cutting-edge medical innovation and research, and met healthcare professionals from across the world. We enjoyed meeting Jeroen!

We hope to keep traveling to new places and meeting healthcare professionals and students who use Figure 1. Make sure you enter our next contest if you’d like to come along.
