24 Personal Finance Blogs That Helped Me Survive Financial Ruin
Through my times of educating myself about personal finances and getting out of debt. I never used a financial advisor or really reached out to a ‘professional‘ for help. All the learning came from personal finance blogs.
For me this was a lot more personal. Suggestions are not weighted due to commission pressures and in most cases its real world examples…Plus you don’t have to read or listen to a bunch of corporate or legal crap to get to the good info.
Of course through this time I found my favorites but also came across SO many others that all had great content.
For this reason I wanted to do you and the other bloggers that helped me a favor and make it quick and easy for you reading this to cut the crap and find the real blogs that get you the information you really need.
Now there is no really algorithm I used to compile this list other than the ones that were a huge impact in my financial education. There are some sites out there that rank the popularity of personal finance blogs and use real calculations such as social influence and monthly traffic. You can find them at Wisebread, Modest Money and Money Crashers.
** Note. If you feel I missed any sites out, please feel free to list them in the comments for other readers to benefit from. Thanks **
Here are my Top 24 Personal Finance Blogs
Of course this is just my list and there are LOADS more personal finance blogs out there that deserve a mention.
I did a bit more searching and was able to come up with a large number of other sites. Now. I could have gone and listed another 100 personal finance blogs but in the world of personal finance you already have enough information to read through and I don’t want to be the cause of over loading you with research.
Like I said up top. I can’t list all the personal finance blogs out there. So if you had come across or own a personal finance blog then please list it below in the comments with a short note as to why it helped you and I can add it to the list.
I hope this list really can benifit you and please don’t hesitate to share with friends!
