But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. (Matthew 14:30 KJV)

I am writing this as a reminder to myself and anyone reading that we wake up every morning not knowing how the day is going to end yet we keep going because that is what life is all about. Routine or not, super busy or not, ready or not, life will hit us fast. From that bill today to that unexpected health issue to that money that came early to that unexpected hug tomorrow someone asking you for their hand in marriage. Every day is a good day for someone and a bad day for someone else. Yet, every day is a good day. Today for me… is still a good day. Things happen for a reason. And after everything I yet am thankful.

I, Troy Sandidge, by the grace of God at only 25, have survived a decent amount of tragedies and yet there are millions more who have it worse off. I’m not keeping tabs on who has the best "pity party" on social nor am I comparing my life to someone else’s.

But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. (Matthew 14:30 KJV)

Encourage yourself.

We may not be able to see how it is all going to pan out... But there’s this thing called faith. We are programmed to be afraid of the unknown... What we don’t understand. Why life isn’t fair. I don’t know…

Here’s a fact: there are 39 million people in the world who are blind and yet go on to do miraculous things without physically seeing anything. The most basic things which if you put a blindfold on we would struggle with undoubtedly like crazy.

You know how you get better at a test? Practice! You keep taking them. Sometimes and even maybe many times, God allows a test to keep coming to bring something out of you or get you where you need to be. Maybe you aren’t hearing his voice or seeing the signs do He had to move you where you need to be in a more "forceful" manner. Without the wind your sails won’t go anywhere. And yes the wind maybe blowing so crazy you can’t control your sail. But I have faith wherever the winds will blow me... It will put me in the right spot exactly where I need to be.

Be thankful for life and the ability to do whatever you can.

Struggles come and go just as the season’s change but if you are reading this you aren’t alone. There are many fighting the good fight just like you. We may not post or share all of our business or health issues or internal demons or whatever you may be going through but I’m here to say tomorrow is a new day. Take it one problem at a time. Life goes on. Someone loves you. You are worth it. Suicide is not the answer. Throw water on the issues while they are small fires. Say you are sorry. Ask for forgiveness. Forgive back. Fight on. Smile though it hurts. There’s a time to grieve. There’s a time to stand up. And there’s always time to pray. Be safe. Keep the faith. Crying doesn’t mean you are weak neither does asking for some help when needed. We all need help and we all cry sometimes.

Tomorrow is a new day so let’s all keep going. Keep our heads up. Stay positive. Every breath we take is a blessing and with each new breath is just a gift and a reminder to push forward.

PUSH: Pray Until Something Happens.

I’m praying for you and with you and believe in you. Your idea is brilliant. Your vision is possible. I believe you can lose that weight. I believe you can get that degree, that promotion, that job. I want to see a post of a great testimony. I want to see you happy. You deserve to be happy. Don’t lose hope because it got hard and then got worse and then blew up and now everything is o fire. It’s scary I know. But we discover so much about ourselves through troubles. We discover what we can really live without and what we can’t. We gain the ability to listen more when we have a need. Our spirits becomes humbled. We pay attention to things we don’t normally pay attention to. So listen. Stop.

Take a minute to think back. Have you forgotten where you came from?🤔

Look back where you were and how you got through that and how you thought that was the worse possible day of your life. Now here you are again. And yet look toward the future. Don’t lose hope not lose sight of your dreams.

Impossible is just what we call the point before you find the strength to make it possible.

Be encouraged digital family.

P.S. Do me a favor if you can. Take a minute. Close your eyes. Take a deep breath. And tell yourself out loud five times, “I will not be defeated” but each time you say it, say it louder and stronger. (Don’t worry I just did it myself .)

T out ✌
