If millions of people would stop idling their engines for no good reason (e.g. checking their smartphones and minor heat/cold comfort) we’d see even greater CO2 reductions.

Also, the proliferation of industrial wind turbines (that destroy scenery and kill wildlife) is a bad way to reduce carbon. Small-footprint technologies like rooftop solar should be emphasized.
