This is very exciting for all of us here at FireLotto and we wanted to share this news with our community immediately.
We have reached another milestone per our roadmap to share with you. FireLotto has been translated to 13 languages as of today. The key language for FireLotto is English. But by using 13 more localized versions of our service we can increase the participation by attracting players who do not speak English.
Which languages have been chosen?
When we made the selection we analyzed our key markets. And the key ones are those where we are planning to work and those where we have more money. Having analyzed more than 300 markets, I can highlight the TOP-5 main languages to date:
TOP-5 ICO languages:
- English — 100%
- Russian — 42%
- Chinese — 38%
- Japanese — 24%
- Korean — 22%
· English — as the language of international communication.
· Russian — it’s here not because we are Russians, the reason is that the blockchain community in Russia is really huge and growing rapidly.
· Chinese — despite the ICO banning in China (September 4, 2017), interest in the blockchain projects remains high. Moreover, the ban is related to the organization of ICO in China, but it does not prohibit Chinese people to play in foreign blockchain lottery.
· Japanese — Japan is the first country that recognized crypto currencies (including bitcoin) as a payment means, this caused an increasing interest.
· Korean — such a high popularity of crypto currencies in South Korea is connected with geopolitical and cultural factors.
We use Crowdin to introduce multi-language support for Korean, Chinese, Russian, Thai, Indonesian, Philippines, and Japanese. Up to 10 languages in total. The FireLotto lottery player community is global and more languages will be supported in the future.
How many languages are needed?
The much, the better. It all depends on our goals and opportunities. In our opinion, 10 (+/- 2) languages to start is enough. Language translations can be made by the CrowdIn program.
