Keith Greiman’s mural located at 1601 North Front Street.

A mural on Honeygrow’s new headquarters at 1601 N. Front Street is the recipient of an official Guinness Book of World Records title. The art was put up about a month ago, and within what seems like seconds, the mural was tagged by a shoddy graffiti vandal.

“We’ve never seen anything like it,” says GBWR spokesperson Alex Clark. “The speed at which this mural was defaced shatters all previous records. Usually, it takes between several hours and a day to get ‘tagged,’ but in this instance, it happened mere seconds after the mural was completed. Absolutely astonishing.”

The Fishtown Gazette caught up with the vandal as he was fleeing the scene, and he had the following to say:

“I am really frustrated with my lack of ability to create such beautiful works of art, so I resort to vandalizing other’s works in order to feel triumphant about my own absence of creativity. I know I will never be on the level of such talented artists, so this is my way of sticking it to ’em. Serves them right for being so skillful and imaginative.”
