The Craving I Just Can’t Kill

As a Health Coach I can tell you that cravings are cognitive, but they can be influenced by the food we are addicted to…ironically the food we crave the most are often the foods to which we have developed sensitivities, or if you will allergies. Our tongue is filled with taste buds that can be altered by sugar, salt, and certain fats. If we make unhealthy food choices, we can actually re-route our taste buds, and derail our fitness progress. One might say that cravings are psychological. While that is true in part, we have to be cognizant of the food we ingest. We can eat our way in, or out of health, just as we can think our way in, or out of a good mood. Everything is connected. The brain is a complicated network. I realize this is not the information you were looking for, but I thought it is the information you just might need. Contact me if you would like to learn more. FitFabMargo@gmail.com
