Nothing To Be Done

Great article Joe! I’ve been thinking a lot about the idea of ‘uselessness’ and the feeling that nothing can be done for my next project.

This point about new technologies is quite important for encouraging people to refocus. Often the technological changes come from the societal changes and not the other way around. Technology is nothing new, it’s just packaged and sold in new ways.

It’s true we need to reflect again on ourselves as individuals, but these different design cultures should also communicate with each other — and most importantly, try to understand one another.
