Ask any kid who loves YouTube, are into their gadgets and games and they will tell you who they subscribe to for their best tips, game clips and advice.
The YouTubers attracted millions of subscribers and in turn made many of them multi-millionaires — particularly those who spotted the possibilities, had the talent and charisma a few years back.

They are, of course, what we call Influencers — you could say their enthusiastic amateurs, but that would be doing them a huge disservice — these are shrewd individuals who know their stuff, spotted the opportunity and cashed in.
And, as the old baseball movie ‘Field of Dreams’ proudly predicted on their strapline, “If you build it, they will come,” — and the advertisers, businesses and companies did come. They would send their latest games, products and wears to the Influencers and, in turn, they would review them on their channels. In effect, directly targeting the desired audience for a fraction of an advertising campaign.

The Influencers quickly learned the power they had, and many exploited it for all it was worth — many teenagers would show their new houses being built on their vlogs, or their fantastic trips around the globe to the very people who were making it all happen. Those being influenced.

Of course, Influencers aren’t only tied to YouTube — they’re everywhere and have existed in many forms for many years.
Gossip columnists in newspapers or online blogs with thousands of followers — or millions in the case of Instagram and Facebook.

In the States, Oprah Winfrey’s Book Club will create best-selling authors overnight, and in the UK, an endorsement from Richard and Judy can prove a massive fillip for any new title.
But the truth is, anyone can be an Influencer, and many do it without even thinking about it.
If you ever post that you “must see” and particular movie or recommend a new restaurant, you are influencing those who value your opinion.

FlipNpik are creating Influencers in their communities. A whole army of them. With the partner ambassador program, app users can get involved in the life of their neighborhood by promoting their favorite FlipNpik business. It’s a win-win relationship: stores get quality content to promote their store and ambassadors get compensation from the merchant.

“As an ambassador he or she can get paid 20% of the merchant spendings for premium services in FNP tokens by helping the merchant gain even more visibility. With this monetization system, blockchain technology hits the sweet spot by allowing merchants to have access to fast, low cost, secure and scalable transactions with the FNP token”, explains FlipNpik CEO Henri Harland.

This is how people sharing images and info via the FlipNpik app create a buzz about a business, café, bar or hidden gem in their area. Being an Influencer is simple and you don’t need a million followers to do it. It’s fun, constructive and really means something, too — and it’s why FlipNpik were created. So go on, get influencing… and get paid for it!
