Spicy Cacao Elixir
I love Raw Chocolate! For those who don’t know me you should know I have a fiery personality. I love infusing chiles into my favorite dishes and I know its the summer time and my body will thrive off foods that are more cooling but I needed the heat to clear up my nasal passages from this weekend’s cold.
This recipe is Dairy-free and Gluten Free
Here’s what you’ll need:
2 Tbs of Cacao powder
1 Tbs Cacao nibs
1 Tsp fresh grated ginger
1 Tsp Cayenne powder
2 Tbs Coconut oil
2 Tbs Honey
1 Tbs hemp seeds
7x2 filet piece of Aloe Vera
2 1/2 cups of Water (I used fresh spring water)
Blend all of the ingredients and add ice if you desire to drink it cold. Personally, I like it at room temperature. In the winter you can heat this baby up and you’ve got a raw hot cacao drink. I already feel so much better.
