Tacha’s Plain Almond milk
Just a few days ago I visited the coop in my neighborhood. I wanted to buy some Almond Milk from my favorite brand but unfortunately they didn’t have any in stock. Now this made me emotional and quite pissy being that I had a rough day. I’m a chef so coming up with an alternative came easy. I decided to stop being lazy and just make my own damn Almond Milk!
Here’s my Recipe to a Creamy Delight. No Cows were harmed in the making!
Before you start Making your Almond Milk Please Wash your hands!
Here’s what you’re going to need:
3 Cups of Organic Raw Almonds
5 Cups of Filtered Water
1/4 Tsp Pink Himalayan Sea Salt

Glass Pitcher or Mason Jar
Prep Time: 2 Days
- Place 3 cups of Almonds and Water in a glass jar. Add Sea Salt and store in Fridge. Let the Almonds soak for 12 hours overnight.
2. After 12 hour soak place the mixture into a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
3. Strain mixture through Sprout bag or Cheesecloth.
4. Save the Almond Pulp -You can utilize the pulp in many ways, don’t throw your money in the garbage- and enjoy your Light and Creamy Beverage. Store in the Fridge for up to a week!
