Hello Dario !
It’s been a while now since we’ve had that and I made several improvements to the method but yes, I’m definitely a big fan of it ! We’re a very small dev team for now so there is no way for us to make a full SPA in React for our interface as most of it is in pure HTML + Twig for display. But the React project is getting bigger and bigger and the widgets more complex, so I definitely am glad having an easy way to make advanced widgets while still having simple twig syntax for simple templates (profile page, navbars, invoicing and admin…).
I’ll soon make another article detailing how I improved but here’s a shortlist:
- Automatic booting of react elements: adding a new component (like a timeline) requires now only 2 extra lines besides the actual component
- Integrate the react project into the Symfony project and customize the build to have a better developing experience
- GRAPHQL: this is the best part of it in my opinion
