My man,
You’ve inspired me multiple times, first and foremost the way your style breaks from conventions of what’s “professional” (not a small thing, I know firsthand from my own experiences what it can take to be unabashedly different in that way), then later on when you spoke openly and honestly about your homelessness and now again when you spoke of your health problems.
I’ve always been so tight lipped about my past, but I can’t ignore that it’s been the folks who capture my attention and I feel big respect for who are the ones willing to be the most 100/real and honest, regardless of society’s norms or expectations.
#Respect to you dawg. And, happy to hear you’re blessed with an amazing wife, and y’all together be blessin’ a whole helluva lotta people by teaching code to end homelessness in the Bay Area. #Salutes.
