Folake Bridget Idowu, a clinical pharmacist with East Kent NHS Hospital Trust in Canterbury, has more than 15 years of experience as a pharmacist. In addition to her work at East Kent NHS Hospital Trust, Folake Bridget Idowu maintains membership with industry organizations, such as the Royal Pharmaceutical Society.

The Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) represents the interests of pharmaceutical professionals throughout England, Scotland, and Wales. The organization has announced that the RPS Science and Research Summit for 2019 will take place on February 8 at Etc.Venues County Hall in London. The event, chaired by RPS Chief Scientist Gino Martini and held in partnership with the Joint Pharmaceutical Analysis Group (JPAG) and The Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences (APS), will feature a range of keynote speakers, including Dame Sally Davies, the chief medical officer for England and the chief medical advisor to the UK government, and professor Molly Stevens.
