Born in 2004 in Los Palacios, Spain, Gavi joined Barcelona’s legendary La Masia youth academy at age 11. His technical skills and football IQ saw him rise rapidly through the academy ranks.
In 2021, manager Ronald Koeman handed the then 17-year-old Gavi his first-team debut. The talented teenager quickly established himself as a fixture in Barcelona’s midfield.
