Premier League Calling for Romanian Defender Radu Dragusin?

Highly-rated Romanian center back Radu Dragusin finds himself at the center of a transfer tussle between European giants Barcelona and Tottenham.

The 21-year-old Drăgușin currently plays for Serie A side Genoa, where his standout performances have caught the eye of scouts across the continent.

Barcelona have reportedly tabled a €30 million bid to try and bring Drăgușin to the Camp Nou. However, Premier League club Tottenham now appear in pole position to secure the defender’s signature after agreeing a £26 million transfer fee with Genoa.

Drăgușin is widely regarded as one of Romania’s brightest young talents. He rose through the youth academy at Italian powerhouse Juventus before moving to Genoa, where he immediately slotted into the starting eleven. An imposing aerial presence at 6'3", Drăgușin has also shown quality distribution and tackling ability from the back.

While Barcelona can offer the prestige of playing for one of the world’s elite clubs, reports suggest Drăgușin favors a move to North London with Tottenham. The chance to test himself in the high-octane Premier League while working under demanding manager Antonio Conte seems to give Spurs an advantage.
