“My work right now is running for governor” -Bill Schuette
LANSING — Today For Our Future released video of Bill Schuette speaking at the Bay Harbor Yacht Club. Schuette told the crowd that his full-time job right now is running for his next job.
“It’s refreshing to hear career politician Bill Schuette admit the truth for a change — that he believes his full-time job is campaigning for his next job,” said Joshua Pugh, For Our Future’s Michigan Communications Director. “Every family in Michigan deserves an attorney general who actually shows up for work, and that’s why Michiganders are going to send Schuette into retirement this November.”
Detroit Free Press: “Calley: Schuette only worked 104 full days in 8-year span”
Great Lakes Beacon: “Did Politics Play a Role in Sparing Dan Wyant from Schuette Prosecution on Flint?”
“I don’t doubt he works hard on his election. I don’t doubt that he works hard on his real estate deals, but he needs to work hard for the people of the state of Michigan. He has a six-figure salary, and I dare say that this is an unprecedented level of non-work, in terms of an official capacity.” -Brian Calley, 7/24/18
