On March 12, telescope imagery of the sun captured a curious sight — a planet-sized, shadowy entity connected to the sun by a dark filament.

The phenomenon was captured in a series of images showing an eruption of illuminated material emanating from the sun’s surface, encircling the enigmatic object. Subsequently, the orb separated from the sun and traveled into space.

The footage, taken by the Solar Dynamics Observatory and processed by NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, has attracted considerable attention from viewers on platforms like YouTube. While some viewers speculate that the images show a UFO spacecraft refueling by absorbing solar plasma, others wonder if it signifies the birth of a new celestial body.
