Grenada’s Largest Diaspora Celebration Takes Place Sat, August 26th in Toronto: 11th Annual GRENADA DAY FESTIVAL

(Toronto, ON- August 21, 2017) Grenada’s largest diaspora festival takes place in its 11th year on Saturday, August 26, 2017, inside Coronation Park, which is located at 2700 Eglinton Avenue West, in Toronto. The festival begins at 10 am until 9 pm with a variety of dignitaries, cultural performances, and international artists.

Grenada Day Festival is the largest Diaspora celebration, with over 8,000 people attending each year in Toronto, and celebrates the culture and people of the island of Grenada, and its sister islands; Carriacou and Petite Martinique. The full day event consists of live performances by local and international entertainers, music, arts and craft, food, activities for the whole family and more. This year’s artists include; Lavaman, Winston Soso, King Ajamu, Boyzie, Lil Kerry, Rootsman Kelly, and much more.
