Mentoring Program for New Attorneys in Houston
In Houston, Texas, attorney Frank Mann helps families navigate through divorce and custody cases at his private legal firm. In his capacity as an established attorney, Frank Mann participates in the Houston Bar Association’s Mentoring Program.
The Houston Bar Association has served Harris County in Texas for nearly 150 years. In order to support up-and-coming lawyers, the association maintains an active mentor/mentee program. It pairs experienced legal professionals with newer attorneys so that the former can provide the latter with guidance. The program maintains a focus on professional development and career advancement for new lawyers.
Attorneys who have been licensed for at least five years may apply to become mentors. The volunteer position extends for at least one year, and, in the ideal scenario, the mentor and mentee meet on a monthly basis. New lawyers who have been licensed for less than three years are eligible to be mentees.
