The Houston Bar Association Mentoring Program
Frank Mann is an attorney in Houston, Texas, with more than three decades of experience in areas of divorce, child custody, child support, and more. Beyond his work as a family attorney, Frank Mann engages with the Houston Bar Association (HBA) as part of its mentoring program.
The HBA mentoring program places new attorneys under the guidance of some of Houston’s most experienced practitioners of law. The mentoring program is carried out informally, allowing the attorneys to discuss professional topics in comfortable settings away from the office.
The mentoring program lasts a minimum of 12 months and features at least one meeting per month, though there is no limit to the length of the partnership or number of meetings. Mentors are expected to discuss past cases and experiences while touching on matters of law practice economics and effective methods of advancing in the career and expanding business.
Mentors must have at least five years of experience as licensed attorneys in the area, while mentees must have fewer than three years of experience. More information on the HBA mentoring program can be found at www.hba.org.
