Why? So finally I bought this RGB LED Matrix and I wanted to create something awesome with it.
After it became clear that for our amateur theater we needed a medieval lantern, which was supposed to go out by magic (or WiFi), I had found my project.
What you need
Tech stuff:
- Raspberry Pi (one of the faster models) | ~ 40 € / $ 45
- Adafruit 64x32 RGB LED Matrix 4mm Pitch | ~ 35 € / $ 40
- Adafruit RGB Matrix Bonnet for Raspberry Pi | ~ 13,20 € / $ 15
- LEICKE AC Adapter NT30538 (or similar) | ~ 36 € / $ 41
(Output: 5V, 10 A = 50 W)
For the case:
