There are many too many felonious crimes that are a lifetime sentence for their victims and surviving families. I.E Child molestation, pedophilia, rape, and murder to just name a few. Along with the numerous white collar crimes that victimized mass numbers of peoples robbing them of their homes and savings, altering their lives from there forward. Therefore the felons should also carry the lifetime sentence of not being able to vote or posses a gun, along with the other rights they lose.

Yes there are many crimes that, in my opinion, where a felon can be rehabilitated or seen as “corrected” and can be returned as a rightful member of society. Along with many felonies that again. in my opinion. are not “legit” felonies or are trumped up by political agenda, as in the case of crack cocaine vs powder cocaine. The “Well to Do” businessman with powder gets a slap on the wrist, all the while the kid on the corner selling rocks gets a felony and a lifetime of strife to follow.

Do we really want some of these individuals,mentioned first, electing officials into office? Spreading their ideologies? Let alone walking among our children.
