[Social] Obama is waiting for you on Facebook Messenger
US President Barack Obama is praised for being close to the people, and for being a digital tools’ early adopter. Some of you may even know that every night, he reads 10 letters or emails from citizens, in order to stay connected to everyday life. Today, in what seems to be a PR coup, the White House has launched a bot on Messenger.
Every user can talk with it and send a message that might be red by the President tonight. Even you! Of course, the technology is not perfect, but it shows a clear will to go where the people are, especially younger generations. Acknowledging that messaging will be an important communication tool is once again a smart move from Obama and his staff.
