No offence, but what are you actually paid to do? I’m sure my workplace would look nicer if I turned the car park into a garden, but my boss would point out – quite rightly – that he doesn’t pay me to garden, no matter how nice it looks.

Your PR is presumably based on the work you were meant to do, not side projects. If you worked for me, I’d have a number of sharp things to say about your commitment to your actual work.
