It’s a great question and one that i consider each time I respond to something I’ve read and thought I could add perspective to. Each time I’ve either before or after regretted (if before I’ve deleted and not responded) doing anything.

Posting opinions with the idea that you can/will change attitudes or thinking about something online seems a fool’s errand. I just try to remember that and not do it any more.

Even having facts at one’s disposal seems to no longer matter, …..

My recourse is to find facts for myself and keep my typing fingers to ideas/words that I would like to give to the world….these, generally do not involve ‘changing minds’.
