A couple of days ago, I came across an article and the headline was to the extent of “Eat These Foods For Breakfast For The Perfect Weight Formula”.
I don’t want to give the exact headline because the article was upsetting to me.
I’m not sure why there are so many articles that give people, like you, false hopes. Why are people’s passion to lose weight being used as a marketing ploy to sell them on false promises?
Weight loss is hard enough. You don’t need someone telling you to eat this piece of fruit every day to drop 20 lbs in two weeks.
That’s horrible. No wonder people are frustrated. It’s a losing cycle of hope.
Don’t get me wrong. The internet is full of great information to help you on your weight loss journey. There are also corners of the internet where articles use false or baiting headlines to entice you to click and read.
There is no perfect weight loss formula.
I’m sorry if someone told you otherwise. There is basic principles to weight loss. There’s just not a one way fits all.
All our bodies are completely different.
I can’t eat a lot of fat and I stay away from it, dairy, and sugar. You may be different. Your body may handle it better than mine. Weight loss is about what you put in and what you put out. There’s no perfect formula. Calories in and calories out is definitely not a perfect formula. It has flaws.
Don’t get your hopes up on the new fad diet. Try different things and see what works best for you.
I always say that weight loss is a science experiment.
Get in your lab aka the kitchen, test out different things, and make your own personal weight loss formula.
It won’t be perfect but it will work for you.
