From a Device Carriage

Faster on IOS, faster on Android 
Tablets and desktops, ipod and kindle;
All charging along like snakes from a socket,
All trawling the cyber space from your pocket:
And all of the screens of the devices on the train
Communication is thick and driving pain;
And ever again, in the swipe of a slide,
Humankind whistles by.
  
Here are the children who tap and swipe,
All by themselves and gathering spite;
Here is an exec who stares and gazes;
And there is no time for a screenshot of daisies!
Here is a shopping cart lost without conversion
Buffering along with intent to load;
And here is a email and there is a blogger:
Each catch a glimpse and then gone for ever!
